The startup project offers a new strategy in the agriculture sector's segment of safety and process optimization to overcome work safety issues on farms. Using the AgroNorm AI-based web platform, users will access and evaluate their safety plan and strategies and get recommendations. AgroNorm offers ongoing verifiable monitoring of all training and certification methods, safety regulations and streamlined workforce procedures to optimize regular operational tasks. 

Agriculture is one of Canada's leading economic sectors. According to Statistics Canada, Canada's agriculture and agri-food system contribute $143 billion to our overall GDP or about 7.4%. The agriculture industry provides job opportunities for Canadian residents, and there are nearly 270,000 workers in agricultural industries.

Farming in Canada is an integral part of the labour force and the economy. Unfortunately, Canadian farmers are at constant risk, with hazards on the job brought about by the use of equipment, especially heavy machinery, the labour associated with soil conservation, not to mention the unsafe chemicals or extreme weather.
